Jesus Helps You Identify Pride in Your Life • So many leaders are followers of their egos and their need for affirmation from others. • Meizon - the comparative form of megas, "large, great." • They were seeking greatness of rank and dignity, of importance and status. • Only when self-centeredness and self-confidence are surrendered to Jesus, can leaders really be servants.
2. Jesus Helps You Understand Kingdom Living
• Children in Jesus' day were regarded with little importance or esteem. Children had no status. • In the Kingdom God humility is honored rather than self-aggrandizing pride. • In the Kingdom of God humility and servant hood are signs of greatness.

The New Jerusalem
Revelation 21:1-4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
